Tool of the Week

Fox Business Noise Stuart Varney wants to punish Federal employees:

No, I don't think they should get their back pay, frankly, I really don't. I'm sick and tired of a massive, bloated federal bureaucracy living on our backs, and taking money out of us, a lot more money than most of us earn in the private sector, then getting a furlough, and then getting their money back at the end of it. Sorry, I'm not for that. I want to punish these people. Sorry to say that, but that's what I want to do.

Most of those federal jobs are Living Wage Jobs. For many decades, the wages for federal jobs have lagged behind the comparable jobs in the private sector. Only since the Republicans and bu$h the lesser's two economic crashes and the shipping of our Living Wage Jobs overseas, has the federal sector "caught up" to and surpassed the private sector in wages. The criminals and their enablers are using lower private sector wages to try to tell us the federal sector are being over paid. No they are not. They are still underpaid, but just not as much as the private sector has been since bu$h II wreaked the economy. Pushing for lower federal wages is nothing more that spinning this country into 3rd world status. Paying what the jobs are worth in the private sector will once again put the federal pay lower than the private sector for comparable jobs.
