SNL - Hillary people, don't watch...

They are really after her, it seems.

The skit was not funny, and many of you will be hurt.

I don't care for her, but I think they may have gone too far.

The Republican bit was insulting to the House, and rightfully so. They deserve it. Although I think Boener is part of a game they're playing. Don't ask me what kind of game, am having trouble figuring it out....

I sure had it wrong when I saw the beginning. I thought with Mylie Cyrus it would be a teenage program, and was about to turn it off when all the political stuff started shooting out...

to balance their skewering of the House. I don't know.

My husband still watches it. I drop in for bits and pieces, because I don't care for it any more. It is now funny only when Justin Timberlake is the host. He is a talented and versatile entertainer.

most talented entertainer there is at this time. He can dance, sing, act, do comedy, play music, write music - what CAN'T this young man do?

The real barbs and skewering of the government was on the Weekend News Update. I think the SNL producers are really pissed with the congressional shenanigans of the past week.

I don't understand why they dumped on Hillary though. She's not part of this.

When I make an unkind comment about Hillary in DU, her people start attacking by a few seconds after I click "post."

They are very sensitive and devoted, and devout, and, just like the Republicans, can't get it thru their heads that Obama won, and have all kinds of reasons for why she didn't.

I guess I have more empathy than I give myself credit for, but I feel sorry, not for Hillary, but for a couple of folks in here who love her. Comedy or no, I hate it when Obama is criticized in a national setting; here isn't so bad, bin msm, it hurts.

12. I was a Hillary supporter, but I don't get upset

when people here criticize her. She is tough enough to take it. However, I do find it hard to forget all the Obama supporters here who would issue mass-alerts on those of us who stood up to them. They were trying to get all Hillary supporters banned. I have always been a good supporter of this site, and I try to avoid name calling. Yet there were Obama supporters here who called me all sorts of names. A couple of them told me to STFU, and they were never reprimanded for it.

I am a serious activist in real life. I went to some dinners and events in the Quad Cities where I saw Hillary and Obama supporters sitting next to each other, sharing a meal, laughing and being cordial. Real Democrats and activists do not have to behave like children.

When Obama was first elected, my daughter and her best friend had tickets to be in Grant Park. I was keeping our county headquarters open that night, so we could have a party. We enjoyed her tweets and pictures from Grant Park.

When President Obama was reelected, my husband and I worked hard for him. We were rewarded with guest passes to McCormick Place on election night. It was wonderful to be there as the results came in.

Again, I will work for our nominee, whether is it Hillary or someone else. And since there appear to be three teahadists who were elected in my state (according to the New Yorker map), I may go to the district that is geographically closest to me and volunteer for whatever they need done to get those people out of office. If these crap keeps up, we may even be able to turn a few seats!

I think we can win the next Presidential election. But we will still have to work for it!

All opinions are legitimate and I'm sorry you had to experience that.

But getting back to SNL, last week they did a bit on Obamacare, and they showed the type of people that were applying for health care, and none of them were worthy of help for one reason or another. That was probably Fox's way of painting them, but I was angry for Obama's sake because people believed it.

Some people laughed because it was funny, but Fox watchers believed that opening segment and will use it in their arguments . Hillary's spot was tailor-made for campaign commercials by her opponents...

Seemed much more to be poking fun at Fox and other media than the Clintons. Just my take, of course.

Unless you hated her already or really sensitive towards news about her.

I'd say its much more "pro" hillary then "after her"

ex: parodying fox news and their obsession with BENGHAZI!!!

and parodying hate on her by making up outrageous anti-hillary tv show names

also miley telling vote her in 2016 because shes, for gays, black people, asians and the little people
