Someone please explain Boehner's position today from "This Week with George S".

It didn't appear any progress will be made regarding the Shutdown. I now can't figure out why the debt limit is the front line topic today? I thought ACA-ObamaCare was target.... They have switched up talking points to where I can't figure it out anymore.

Explain our dilemma.

First it was to defund Obamacare. When that wasn't doable, it became a matter of fairness to the American people - drop the individual mandate and take away congressional subsidies. Is that still it? Or has it now morphed into eliminate the medical device tax and take away congressional subsidies. Or is it all about simply negotiating because they have no idea anymore.

I can't keep track any longer. It just keeps morphing from one "goal" to the next.

I didn't watch any of the Sunday shows (never do) so have no idea what they're peddling today.

I didn't record "This Week" and I should have done that since it could of given good clues by watching it 2-3 times......Boehner and Senator Chuck Schumer were on...so I could get both sides.

They're trying to distance themselves from ACA since Americans like it so they quit talking about it. I kinda figured the shutdown and debt limit would merge into one giant clusterfuck, with the ultimate goal to defund parts of the federal govt they don't like. Obama and Dems cannot, under any circumstances, give in to their demands.

They, the GOP, changed up the talking points to confuse everyone since the GOP was failing completely.

Boehner is saying they took bills to the Senate and were rejected...but he didn't say what was in the bills which defunded ACA....yet he want to give the appearance of being productive................Not!

Another thought I had while listening to Senator Schumer towards the end of the segment.....Could this all be to damage Obama and the Democratic Party for 2016? US credit going down the toilet causing another recession....Blame Obama....????

They will try anything to destroy Obama's presidency, and keep Dems from controlling WH and Congress.

Their ultimate goal is full control of what's left of the govt - they couldn't care less about the Constitution and democracy. They are driven by "the end justify the means", even if the means is the destruction of our country.
