Miley Cyrus as lewd Michele Bachmann partying with gay Boehner "We Did Stop (The Government)"

I can't believe this hasn't gone viral yet. It's perfect and hilarious. Funniest thing on SNL in years. Even Miley Cyrus and SNL know who's to blame for the shutdown. Time for the rest of the country to figure it out too!

I will immediately fetch my zircon-encrusted cat-o-nine-tails and commence progressive self-flagellation for laughing at it.

What was I thinking?

Why can't SNL go back to being the establishment-stroking propaganda tool it became in 1980 and remained for decades? I had grown accustomed to their endless skits about people with exaggerated personality disorders and celebrity gossip in-jokes.

I thought Miley Cyrus was a useless idiot for her "twerk" brouhaha a few weeks ago.

Now that she's parlayed it into this, I think friggin' genius girl.

I was laughing out loud throughout. I loved when Boehner "riding" Uncle Sam flat on his back. I cracked up when I saw Obama watching in horror through the curtains. I ended up watching several times.

My only criticism is they should have painted Boehner a little more orange. But the take on him was perfect.

Over the top, IMO. They could have done the sketch without that, to the same effect, but without the undertones. An unrec for this one.

Personally, I found it a failure as satire. Too bad. It might have been a good sketch, but wasn't, IMO.

I did some searching around, and lots of folks are using the word "gay" with regard to Boner in that sketch. I can see the pansexual point of view, but I think many others are seeing it in a narrower sense.

He's a homophobic leader of a homophobic party that supports homophobic policies. It's perfectly legitimate to portray him in the most stereotypical way possible.

Same with Bachmann. She's a misogynistic leader of an anti-woman party, who despises sex and seeks to stomp out any displays of sexuality. She deserves to be portrayed as slutty and sex-craved as possible.

If we were just doing that to any man or any woman, it'd be problematic. But it isn't any man or any woman. It's two horrible people who will be horrified by it.

she is young and dumb, and too much money. No one should mock mentally disturbed people.

No doubt she will be back. But I think SNL could be a great vehicle to take advantage of her comic talents so she can launch a huge movie career. I could also see her doing her own variety show. Miley has the potential to be Madonna, Dolly Parton and Carol Burnett all rolled up into one.
