I try hard not to give in to the dark side...
...but I fucking HATE the Republicans. Before I thought they were just misguided and misanthropic and sociopathic but it goes deeper than that. What they are doing, led by that orange dungball John Boehner is beyond words such as appalling, cretinous, subhuman, amoral and inhumane. They are beyond contemptible. Their lies make me seethe with rage. I have never liked the conservative mindset, it was always heartless and utterly lacking anything approaching empathy but it is so much worse now. I can't believe that people like this can actually be born of human parents and not hatched from alien demon eggs. Their hatred of women, LGBT, "furriners", minorities, anyone other than the rich is appalling. I just has someone tell me that "at least Fox News tries not to be biased, unlike all the other networks, which have a liberal bias." How long are we going to take this unbelievable lying? I keep thinking maybe we should become two Americas...one with people who understand that a society needs to take care of each other for the common good and another filled with the Ayn Rand gun worshipers who hate anyone not just like them. In 8 years when I retire I am seriously thinking about being the rat that deserts the sinking ship and moving elsewhere. If we're still a country by then.
