I Understand The President Will Be Meeting With Dems Today and Repugs At A Later Time.....

Is this a sign of the President losing resolve and caving to the Repug demands or is he using this opportunity to rally the troops and hold his ground?

CR, which is only for 6 weeks.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wants Dems to accept his infamous Grand Bargain, where the elderly and poor have to pay more.

Dems in Congress, especially Progressive Dems, should either reintroduce their budget plans that save SS and Medicare with logical cuts that don't hurt recipients, or come up with a new one.
