And the man who set himself on fire on the great lawn as part of the big picture mess now known as the JOHN BOEHNER SHUTDOWN, some of the incidents in this calamity are coincidences such as the shooting and the suicide by fire, but when you see this level of dysfunction from our leaders causing job losses, closing facilities, websites down, Head Start closures, military Death benefits unpaid it all feels like one big Washington MESS. People in need are out of luck and people who are paid to serve are frustratingly absent. More than a week has passed and Boehner has gained nothing, but Americans have been hurt over this nonsense.

There is no exit strategy that helps Boehner to save face. In my opinion, History will hold him culpable for every bit of the shutdown chaos, direct or tangential we suffered since the shutdown began.
