Bachmann responds to Miley: I don't twerk

Rep. Michele Bachmann is certainly not going to start acting like Miley Cyrus.

“I’ve never done twerking in my life and I don’t intend to take it up,” Bachmann joked on a conference call sponsored by TheTeaParty.Net on Tuesday.

“You know I have a good sense of humor, I never take that personally,” Bachmann said. “I’ve probably been lampooned six or seven times on ‘Saturday Night Live’ and that’s all done in good fun.”

“What was kind of funny is the Monday after ‘Saturday Night Live’ aired, we got a lot of calls in the office and people thought that that actually was me in the skit,” she said. “And I will tell you as a 57-year-old woman it’s been a long time since I’ve been confused for a 20-year-old.”
