GOP: We're doing everything we can to entice Obama and Dems into negotiating, but we get no response

<...>

“We’re trying everything we know how to do to entice them to negotiating, talking this thing through and solving the problem, but we get no response,” Appropriations Chairman Hal Rogers (R-Ky.) told POLITICO, referring to Democrats and Obama.

The Democrats have only been trying to get you to negotiate with them for a year, but man, I really feel sorry for you for having to put up with this for a week. NOT!

Crybaby-thy name is Republican.

Boner said he could pass the bill with Paul Ryan numbers and nothing about ObamaCare, and then he changed his mind. The Senate wanted a budget figure 80 billion higher than they passed because of their negotiations. I think the dems have finally learned that if you agree to something they want, they will just say "not good enough" and not vote for it. That is why the ACA passed with no R votes.

so he can't get Democrats or the President to sit down and discuss solutions to a problem that he created and could fix with a simple vote? The horror, the horror.

How many Democrats running for Congress in the midterms and in 2016 will not use this? Or will only mention this shutdown and the Republicans roll in the shutdown, in passing?
All during then next two elections periods, every bill board in the country should be reminding everyone how the Republicans have been trying to destroy this country for decades.

And to the GOP: get used to it, and prepare your back-to-the-corner unconditional surrender. And lunch money too. We want your damned lunch money, Boehner.

They have been given a response over and over and over again.

Pass a clean CR and debt ceiling increase, then Obama and Dems will discuss anything they want to discuss.

I'm tired of seeing the "silent Dem/Obama" meme perpetuated by the media.
