Why don't they make it about abortion?

The thing that really strikes me here is that those of the professed belief that abortion is murder have chosen, as their Last Stand, whether it is "Obamacare" or "entitlements" or whatever tomorrow's demands will be, issues that are simply over money.

If there is anything worth crashing the US into the ground over, one might think it would be some grand moral principle, and not just money.

And BTW, their stand on abortion has NOTHING to do with moral principle and EVERYTHING to do with controlling women.

2. it's because they know they'll get their asses kicked politically if they make it about abortion

they'd lose the women's vote for sure, much of the men's vote also and wouldn't get the presidency for a generation.

3. I've often thought that passing a law awarding housing, money, medical, neonatal and

child care, no questions asked, for any pregnancy, based on status alone, would shut them up or at least call their bluff.
