Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney is returning to the Park city real estate market with the purchase of a mansion in Deer Valley (Utah).
The Park Record reports that a house on Silver Lake Drive has been sold to a firm called Deer Valley SR, LLC, which identifies Ann Romney, Mitt Romneys wife, as its manager.
The house and the land it sits on is valued at $3.7 million. Estimated property taxes in 2013 are $33,648.36, according to the Summit County Assessors Office. The house had been listed for $8.9 million.
The Romneys owned property in Park City from 1995 to 2009.

The land it was on also cost $10k, but Daddy recouped that whole thing by carving off 2 1-acre plots and selling them.
Sold the place for $100k about 15 years ago. It paid for Mom's assisted living until she died. Her estate came to about $10k.
I hope the Rmoneys appreciate what they have and don't bitch endlessly about every little thing. But they probably will.
