Prison Guards Failed To Check On Ariel Castro, Falsified Log Books

COLUMBUS, Ohio - A report released Thursday by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction says rounds were not properly completed the night serial kidnapper Ariel Castro hanged himself in his cell.

The Cleveland kidnapper was found hanging in his cell on Sept. 3 at 9:18 p.m.

The new review indicates that guards did not properly complete rounds that night. It also says the guards falsified post log books.

Two guards, Caleb Ackley, 26, and Ryan Murphy, 27, are already on administrative leave with pay during the investigation.

PLUS...The review also indicates that the MedCare Ambulance response to the emergency call was "significantly delayed."

3. Honestly who cares?

He was guilty beyond a doubt since they found the girls in his house. I know, we have to let it go through the justice system, but no one killed him, he killed himself. When he was found guilty, he would have been sentenced to life or death and then we would have forgot about him. If Charles Mansion had killed himself, it would have been news but then no one would care about that. I say good ridden's one less evil person on earth. That might make me a bad person, but in this case, I really don't care.

I feel nothing for Castro, and don't particularly care that he's dead. He put those girls through things that go beyond hell.
