These Conservative Blacks The GOP Parades Out Are Goofy.

What is going on with these blacks that the GOP parades out. Are they that out of it that they do not realize GOP crackers hate them. And the "Log Cabin" gays, they are even more puzzling. How in the world can they be so disconnected.

who refuse to believe that the Republicans want to overturn Roe V Wade. When I try to explain it...they say "not all of them". There are those that just refuse to accept certain facts...

told why he was a Republican. Most of it boiled down to Lincoln freed the slaves and Lincoln was a Republican.

I answered by reminding him that a Republican might have freed the slaves, but it was a Democrat who signed the Voting Rights Act and the Civil Rights Act which enabled the descendants of those slaves to participate in the rights of citizenship.

I didn't get an answer.

wish to be noticed; others are just getting paid, in a major way.

I have a (much younger) Fraternity Brother (from my home Chapter, none the less) that is making his way up in modern gop circles.

We have had several conversations ... He is fully aware that he is despised by most of those around him; but he points to the balance in his consultancy firm's account.

The conversations end with me reminding him of our Fraternity's Founding Purpose. (and me threatening to put him back on line, as it is clear he missed something.)

Republicans will do what it takes to try to attract R votes, they have the money to 'buy' elections. All they have to do is get the votes needed. Once the democratic vote is over- the republic part of our Gov. takes over and the elected person can do pretty much what they want. Takes years if ever to get rid of them. Even corrupt war criminals can stay in office.

I don't think most Americans are that ignorant to not notice how the RW tries to game for votes. But who knows, Rs do put on a good scam and spend billions on their 'show' . An R vote is an R vote, even from a cracker, a fanatic, a gerrymandered county or a duped by propaganda person.

Self loathing disorder...

Heck I don't know how to categorize it but it seems that some people seek out acceptance from people they know dislike them. They blame themselves for the dislike somehow.

When "accepted" by the group it re-affirms their worth. But the level of denial requires a weak sense of self worth-hence Self loathing disorder.

It's also business related as you sell much better when your a member of the "republican" fraternity. And a great opportunity to prove your not racist at all-see my (insert minority here)friend!.

Not anything but a EWAG but I had a friend who fit the description to a tee-and I came to that conclusion.
