....and its non-rich members are batshitfuckingloonytunesinsane understand this, the level of indoctrination - a combination of evangelical zeal and hatred for anything different (i.e. non-white) - approaches and often exceeds that of religious fundamentalism and often combines both.
Their wealthy overlords know how to exploit this and create a virtual lock on the gerrymandered districts of low information voters. They control the message and media and it will always be a tough slog to recapture the House. However, 2012 proved it can be done with an effective ground campaign that can be an antidote to the noise. And since the agenda is not the reelection of the President more resources can be devoted to counter the noise and turn voters away from the Party of Loaded Undies.
