Oooops, Sorry Fox, just 30 showed up
As of early Saturday morning only about 30 trucks showed up, a bit short of the 10,000 suggested by Fox News, and the 100,000 suggested by UNOFFICIAL spokesmen Earl Conlon. But even more sadly, the truckers left Texas Tea Party Ugly Congressman Louie Gohmert standing alone in a drizzle at the WW2 War Memorial for the fizzle that never showed up.

Maybe Fox should have offered to pay for the gas and lost revenue. Maybe the truckers are losing revenue due to the shutdown.
Maybe truckers just aren't as stupid as Fox thinks they are.

(26,623 posts)Don't know why these plans upset me so. The Glenn Beck rally a few years ago was shocking in that so many showed up. Since then, the crazy base stays in their comfort zone, watching fox and listening to creeps like Santilli.

(9,999 posts)call into Stephanie and even Mike Malloy and I always enjoyed their comments - real and to the point. They aren't all the teabaggin' Bubbas that Fox would have us believe.
