ObamaCare Question (X-Posted to the Econ Group) ...

I read where companies that hurt workers and used ObamaCare as the excuse have suffered brand hits ... I wonder what the public response would be if a company actual announced that they fully support the ACA, and as such, they were moving all of their employees to the ACA and pay the penalty?

Here is how I envision it:

1) Make the statement of support for the ACA.

2) Announce the company cost savings by making the switch (even after the penalty) and pledge that that savings will go (on top of current wade structure) to a mix of workers' wages, a defined benefit retirement plan and a small bump to the bottom line.

3) Announce that an Exchange Navigator firm has been contracted with to provide one on one assistance for each of its employees.

4) Announce the switch and the effective date (January 1, 2014)

5) (I suspect) Watch corporate stock and employee applications soar.

{Disclaimer ... This is a rough plan, set out for discussion in order to flesh out ... developed at 5:00a.m., without the benefit of coffee}
