The president is a pathetic leader. Hes only engaged in the last couple of days, Graham said after the Senate blocked action on a Democratic plan for a clean debt-ceiling increase through 2014. Every time you get close to getting a deal over here with our Democratic friends, they move the ball because some poll comes out. Our friends in the House apparently cant muster the votes to send something over here to open up the government. So its dysfunction at every level.Read more: http://www.politico.com/story/2013/10/dangerous-lindsey-graham-vents-frustrations-98226.html#ixzz2hc80kg2H

(879 posts)Your friends in the House have a bill that you already passed and that the President would sign, but they won't even vote on it. They can muster the votes, they just don't want to.

(70,508 posts)No, Lindsey it is not "both sides are at fault" but the republicans who
refuse to except democracy and the rule of law. The President didn't
move the ball he ran and was re-elected on the A.C.A. which is the law
of the land and the Republicans refuse to except that so they are willing to
crash the economic and make people all over the world suffer unless they
get their way.
I am sick of these assholes.
