Reporting here from trucker-besieged DC. We're hanging on.

Yes, I know that for some strange reason, Faux News has ceased reporting on the million-trucker shutdown of the Beltway in DC. But I want all DUers to know that somehow, someway, we have persevered, and are getting around despite the one or two trucks we have seen on the Beltway going about their business.

It's been tough, but got on the Beltway yesterday evening for a Saturday night dinner with friends at a lovely restaurant off I-270. Even had a glass of a good Cabernet.

I know, you admire our courage and spirit in the face of such hardship, but what can I say? We DUers are made of sterner stuff.

matters. You can give them facts and they still believe the lies. They will believe the photo is real, even though they know it is not.

to not only fail, but to get lost in all the other current and compelling drama. Even worse, if they planned on rolling triumphant during the shutdown.

Terrible. Idea. All. Around.
