It's ironic. The "Obama and the Dems are going to sell us out" sky has never fallen, despite multitudinous , wrong, un-retracted, yet somehow evergreen OPs on the subject. Now the Republicans swoop in to stop checks entirely and it's crickets chirping from the SS/Medicare front guard.
