Pamela Geller Spews Hatred at Sandra Fluke ‘Banging It Five Times a Day’

I don't think Pamela got the memo....

The right wing blogosphere is in auto-hate mode

Sun Mar 4, 2012 at 6:18 pm PST

Rush Limbaugh may have “apologized” (disclaimer: not a real apology) for his caveman comments about Sandra Fluke, but the right wing blogosphere continues to spew torrents of venom at her. Tonight’s case in point is hate group leader Pamela Geller, parroting the latest talking point that Ed Schultz is somehow equivalent to Rush Limbaugh, and calling Sandra Fluke a “prostitute” who is “banging it five times a day:”

A 30-year-old poses as a 23-year-old, chooses a Catholic University to attend at $65,000 per year and can not afford ALL the birth control pills she needs… so she wants the US taxpayers to pay for her rampant sexual activity. By all accounts she is banging it five times a day. She sounds more like a prostitute to me. She must have an gyno bill to choke a horse (pun intended). Slut was a softball.

Obama calls her and tells Sandra Slut Fluke that her parents should be so proud of her.
He’s a pimp.
Did he call the sole survivor of the Fogel family massacre?
He is morally bankrupt.

As for Rush calling a spade a spade, or in this case, a slut a slut, advertiser Carbonite is playing selective outrage. Contact Carbonite here and demand that they drop their ads from Ed Schultz’s program.

that the number of birth control pills taken (for any reason) do not correlate to the number of times a woman has sex. Whether she takes the pill for birth control or treatment of some other medical condition, the prescriptions are for one pill a day, regardless of the number of times she has or doesn't have sex. Surely, as a woman, she should know that, even if she lives with a bucket over her head.

to all the usual suspects on this one. This time the points are so ludicrous, even the idiots in their audiences will probably scratch their heads and say, "huh?"

This whole thing smells of extreme desperation--a desperate need to distract from the fact that the economy is improving, etc.--to me.

they're running with the same playbook:

framing it as taxpayer funded rather than insurance coverage
amount of sex somehow determines amount of birth control pills

This is from Wiki....

2009

Charles Johnson and LGF received attention from the progressive blog the Huffington Post because of a blog post of Johnsons disassociating himself from "the right" because of perceived bigotry, homophobia, islamaphobia, embracing of conspiracy theories, "religious fanaticism", "anti-government lunacy", global warming denialism, "hate speech", "racism" and "fascism".[67]

10. Why I Parted Ways With The Right - Charles Johnson
Sun Mar 4, 2012, 11:50 PM
Mar 2012

Ten points in all...

1. Support for fascists, both in America (see: Pat Buchanan, Robert Stacy McCain, etc.) and in Europe (see: Vlaams Belang, BNP, SIOE, Pat Buchanan, etc.)

2. Support for bigotry, hatred, and white supremacism (see: Pat Buchanan, Ann Coulter, Robert Stacy McCain, Lew Rockwell, etc.)

3. Support for throwing women back into the Dark Ages, and general religious fanaticism (see: Operation Rescue, anti-abortion groups, James Dobson, Pat Robertson, Tony Perkins, the entire religious right, etc.)

4. Support for anti-science bad craziness (see: creationism, climate change denialism, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, James Inhofe, etc.)

Mon Mar 5, 2012, 12:10 AM
Mar 2012

The GOP strategy to being exposed is ALWAYS:

double-down, up the ante, attach, and depend on their almighty hate-machine to jack up the rhetoric among the kool-aide addicts.

She's got the memo tattooed into her reptilian brainstem.

Rush accused Fluke of having sex 3 times a day, Geller has in at 5. By tomorrow's Mark Levin show, no telling what the libel will have grown to.

Limbaugh is now "defending" himself by stating he was saying absurd things to make a point.

The GOP seems to have adopted the strategy that if can lie at will, and if ever challenged, just increase the lie to preposterous levels under the theory that the bigger the lie, the more it falls under the "absurdity escape clause".

But I would advise that she go after Geller in a nano second. Geller doesn't have the deep pockets that Rush does, but that also means she doesn't have the resources to mount a drawn out defense. And there is no way that her comments can be spun as an attempt at humor or as anything but a malicious, false attack on Ms. Fluke (by "all accounts"? Put Ms. Geller on the stand and ask her to name her sources.)

She could get sued for libel.
And as the DUer onenote above said, she doesn't have the team of lawyers that Rush Limbaugh has.

Rush should have added this disclaimer for his imitators: Don't try this at home, kids!

Maybe if they would change the name of the birth control pill, and prescribe it for hormone therapy it would fool them. Because it is obvious that they don't know what birth control pills are used for.
