Do you think the Democrats should be more conciliatory?

Or do you think they have compromised enough already? Like Harry Reid said, it is not a concession to agree to opening our government or extending our debt limit....that is their job.

John McCain said "what goes around comes around". He suggested that the Democrats should be "magnanimous".

Are you fearful that the Democrats might take it a step too far?

It is the fact that they don't know otherwise is the problem.

Besides, I don't appreciate their sense of entitlement, thinking that just because by virtue of them being who they are, they should be treated a certain special way. As if.

The problem really is, no matter how conciliatory they would be, they wouldn't stop and just ask for more.

The teahadists need to give in, give up, and go away.

Dems have already compromised on so much, but listening to David Gregory, Panetta, and repug-lite Harold Ford, Jr., you'd think none of the past compromises and agreements ever happened. Why isn't the media mentioning that part?!

And no, I don't think democrats should be more conciliatory, but with the double standards that continue to exist, I won't hold it against them if they offer something tiny.

Besides the teabagger/repub. definition of words like "compromise" and magnanimous" is "give us every thing we demand"

I think the Dems should do their job and stand firm against teabagger's ludicrous demands.

Mon Oct 14, 2013, 06:32 PM

Doesn't compromise mean that both sides get something? What are we getting out of this? Loss of funds for the PPACA? More cuts to programs already hurting?

Forgive me, who won the last election? Who has the presidency? Who has the Senate? Who WOULD have the house were it not for gerrymandering?

Yet, the budget the senate passed and which Boner wont bring to a vote has what in it? Cut after cut? Wait, what? The party that LOST gets what they want and we get nada? Yet we are the ones who are not being magnanimous or conciliatory? Really?

HELL NO!!! Its the repukes who need to realize how freaking conciliatory we have been and make some compromises.
