These are all either 'retired' or 'former' something-or-others.. How many active some-thing-or-others ever speak out like this. Some, I am sure. But not many.

to speak out on matters political. Just ask General Stan McCrystal (ret).

are ALL retired. So I reckon it's only FAIR, but it's also necessary, given the MANY lives at stake, for them to speak out. Ms Bigmack

No surprise to see Col. Wilkerson's name on there. He has been continually drug thru the mud by the hawks on both sides, for his bold critique of US actions leading up to and during the Iraq Invasion and Occupation.

Lottsa power in those signatures! I'm wondering what Colin Powell thinks of this ad?

I'd like to imagine John Murtha's name on that list, too. May he rest in peace.
