but the G.O.P. fought so very hard for, and got, open primaries here in CA that I feel I should reward all that hard work by voting for Rick Santorum.

You should make your choice known, even if it is a protest vote.

I voted for Santorum in Michigan's primary. I guess Gingrich is the way to go down there but I am not really sure what would hurt the (R)s the most.

Just Do It.

Can't decide if I want to see Gingrich gloating or crying.

If Gingrich loses Georgia will he drop out? I'd hate to see the love fest to come to an end.

Newt is probably the best way to go. Icky Ricky has some momentum so it's time to get Newt's hopes up again.

I'd like to see them keep fighting each other for a while yet.

Probably too late, but ya never know. My take:

An open primary is just that. The Dems didn't make those rules; the Repugs did this to themselves. Just like they did here in Michigan. Dems need to exploit this.

Voting for anybody but Rmoney will hurt the Repugs in Nov. The longer we can prolong the circular shooting gallery that the Repug nomination process has set in motion, the better.

According to recent polling Newt is the bottom of the heap against Obama in Nov. A big win by him in GA will likely extend the agony more than a few more votes for InSanitorium, who stands next to no chance there (but who can do better elsewhere --- see next paragraph).

I suggest other Stupid Tuesday Dems consider InSanitorium in those states with open primaries and where he's polling above Newt.

Here's the best argument of all. We didn't do this to them. They're the ones who left the hole in the process. They have nothing to cry about.

Give it to them. But Organize.

Will be voting tomorrow and have never pulled the lever for a republican. I understand the logic and will vote to prolong the agony.

there are others on the ballot. Wouldn't a vote for anybody else accomplish the same thing?

I get the sentiment but I cannot stand Newt and would not add to his overinflated version of himself in any way.

I am only one vote, but if Newt is going to win in GA, I hope he wins big so that he is still needling Mitt and Rick after Super Tuesday

He'll never be nominee, but he can still play spoiler.

I was going to vote to prolong the agony but couldn't bring my self to check the box requesting a Republican ballet.

So once again I pulled the lever for a D-President Obama. It would be fantastic if he received more votes than Newt.
