So riddle me this

If a government program that doesn't meet all of our needs within its first week proves that government can't get anything right...

...what does that say about a free market that couldn't meet our needs for two hundred years?

needs of anyone but owners/stockholders and consumers who can afford to buy.

I don't think the successes or failures of government can be compared legitimately with anything but other governments.

Wingers constantly compare government to business. For one, any government function that does not turn a profit is deemed a failure by them. They don't understand that some things are not going to make a profits, yet are still worth doing.
