I think he's the last real "journalist" since CNN got rid of Katy Couric.

I loved the part about "pushing Americans off the cliff one by one, because YOU don't like Obamacare?"
She FREAKED out.
Was toooo funny!!

(31,464 posts)I guess the only appropriate question would be "My, your hair looks lovely! Who is your stylist?"

All she ever does is parrot the latest right-wing talking points, and Thomas Roberts wouldn't let her get away with it today, to his great credit.

(15,805 posts)that he was ready for her, had her own words handy to confront her with. She kept defending herself with logic like 'those are my words but that's not what I said'.
Also loved it that she got all huffy when he turned the favorite teabagger phrasing on her: Why do you hate Obamacare more than you love America? Her umbrage was theatrically laughable.
Well done, Mr. Roberts. Well done.

Mr. Roberts was clearly not in a prisoner-taking mood this morning!

(17,528 posts)job on Marsha this morning (whom I hate) and put her into a fake outrage.
I wish MSNBC would give him a night time gig or I'd love to see/hear him rather than a disgusting prison adventure. I hate having to look for something to watch on the weekend.

(23,664 posts)I didn't know who either of them was but I had to admire the way he just talked right over her attempts to talk over him. He wasn't taking any shit from her and as the interview progressed you could see her level of frustration increase as she found herself unable to inject any of her preprogrammed talking points into the discussion.
This interview should be required watching for the other NBC "journalists" who think their only job is to point out that "both sides are equally guilty". Talkin to you Chuck Todd. Andrea Mitchell. David Fuckin Gregory.
