You GO, Thomas Roberts!! This is the question Roberts asked of Rep. Marsha Blackburn, (R) Tennessee. I can't quote the rest of it, but he did a great job of holding her feet to the fire in a way I don't think I've ever seen on CNN. All she could do was splutter nonsense back at him. It was awesome! About time a member of the press does their damn job!

5. I literally cheered out loud when I heard him stop her in her tracks with her nonsense!!

She tried to claim that it was the Democrats and the President who WANTED the shut down. He was having NONE of that talk and began to quote her own words to her that she said back in August. He said she (and the other Republicans) had been planning for months to shut the government down and said they were going to do so. It's hard to deny the truth when your own words condemn you.

When he quoted her words back to her verbatim, she looked very unhappy and stood there sputtering for a few seconds and then finally got her footing back and began again to say the same old crap. Thomas never let up and kept on talking over her to the point that I thought she might cry.

Finally!! A commentator who calls them out on their lies, half truths and distortions! He should be nominated for something BIG. And yes, I agree with whoever said he should replace Chuckie Toadboy. Thomas never let up on that hack and once he had her on the ropes she was unable to spew her rhetoric and lies with any conviction at all. She looked pretty miserable at the end.
