Democrats. Nathan Fletcher in San Diego is the poster child, and Scott Peters (Congress) is his brother by another mother. You can also check out the No Labels caucus that is growing in the Congress made up of Republican and Democratic centrists. They don't have any power right now because everybody scared shitless of the extremists that run the Repubs.
