Let's review recent history re; the GOP and the Debt.

Clinton leaves us with a budget surplus that will slowly start paying down the debt.
Bush uses that surplus for a tax break that benefits the wealthy, thereby putting us in more debt.
He then sends us into two long and costly wars that balloon the debt more. And brings us a near collapse of the economy, making revenues fall even more.
The whole time the GOP cheers him on and does squat all about the debt or deficits.
Once Obama gets into office, they do everything they can to prevent a recovery and do nothing but complain about the debt they caused.

But you keep hearing from the media that it's "both sides" and "government in crisis" blah, blah, blah...

There is but one group to blame.

Raygun ran up the debt too. Where were the complaints?
