Amazing "grace"

If anyone doubted the religious thread running through the Repukes/Teaparty, note that they started off one of their latest meeting with a hymn,Amazing Grace. I do believe they now see themselves as some sort of martyrs who are suffering for their convictions and faith. Truly they are wretches.

Something that is given freely. Something that is given out of love and concern for the other. Something given without the expectation of anything in return. Something done to sacrifice one's self for the benefit of others.

What do they know of grace?

ie where errant congregants are invited to come down the aisle to "make right" with Jesus.

Very telling that this song was chosen.
