(btw, some people are saying that contributing to the public debate, making a public statement about an issue, makes you "fair game"
and has publicly stated that the difference between a "hockey mom" (which she described herself as) and a pit bull is "lipstick" ...
would it be appropriate to call Sarah Palin a ..... (the term for a female dog)?

No!!.I have 2 female canine friends,and would not want their sensibilities impugned by calling quitter that B word.....Rather,I would use a word that rhymes with another sometime dog descriptive,RUNT!
