Tea Partier With Ten Children on Medicaid Denounces Government Involvement in Health Insurance

A short time back, NBC News posted an article profiling some of the diehard anti-Obamacare Americans. It was a portrait in hypocrisy, or perhaps something more than that -- irreconciable imbecility.

Take Greg Collett:

“I don’t think that the government should be involved in health care or health insurance,” says Greg Collett, a 41-year-old software developer in Caldwell, Idaho, who would rather pay the fine for now -- $95 the first year -- than signup....

Collett counts himself among the 29 percent of people who said in an NBCNews/Kaiser poll they are angry about the health reform law. “The issue for me is that it is not the proper role of government,” he said.

Collett, who is married and has 10 children, says the kids are covered by Medicaid, the joint state-federal health insurance plan for people with low income and children who are not covered.

Sounds like another member of the SLC Temple Square crowd. This is a typical tactic used by many is Udah and Iditho. Keep your income or AGI in certain guide lines and you can afford to raise a full quiver of rug rats with the help of gummitt. So dislike these folks, they give us takers such a bad name. Oh,forgot, this is another Romney for whatever team leader. These pricks with ears never go away do they. Duh!!!

Amazing how these twits come up with this shit. Notice how the Red States are screwing their working class and working poor folks with the heavy duty ACA premiums.

Don't get me started with STUPID,there isn't a cue.

Is always griping about people who are on SSI when "they should be out making a living instead of taking handouts." What he forgets is that he worked for the State of Illinois for 18 years and because his employer paid for a long term disability policy, he was able to claim he had back problems and is has been collecting benefits from that policy for the past 8 years. And amazingly (sarcasm), once the doctor put him on permanent disability, he was able to lose an amazing amount of weight and now spends his days playing golf.

"It's a bit scary for the future of the nation that these selfish scammers are mugging democracy. It's a combination of opportunism, bigotry and delusion, not to mention the "austerity" cry fueled by the Koch brothers and their billionaire colleagues.

But putting the political and psychological analysis aside, it's really summed up in one word: hypocrisy."

but you don't get to pick and choose what you'll agree to fund. i got to fund the Iraq War, depleted uranium munitions, and subsidies that pay farmers not to grow food.

he doesn't want to pay for public schools. government healthcare is not the "proper role of government", but he'll take it for his kids because he's getting back the money he has to pay into local schools, which he doesn't use because he's (his wife, probably) indoctrinating, i mean homeschooling.

never mind that it's 2 separate pots of money.
