instead of the Byzantine plan we have coming now. It could have been implemented in months and people would have been enjoying coverage for years now at a fraction of the cost.

the Democratic Party should have countered with the Medicare Expansion proposal.
At least that would have gotten some Air Play, and the MORE people talk about expanding Medicare,
the more they will see how pragmatic & sensible AND cheaper it is.

At the very least, the Democrats should have Upped the Ante and made it more painful for every day they blocked our democracy from working when the Republicans backed themselves into their corner.
