But as a whole that's where the Republican party is right now. And, seemingly, that's where they want to bed and are upset that their candidate can't quite project that level of insanity.

and the one about the Auto Industry going Bankrupt.

Conservatives don't believe that the Bible trumps the Constitution, they believe that the Constitution when properly read and understood, applies Biblical principles in Government.

They don't think the Auto Industry should go Bankrupt or at least not permanently; they believe that the bailout was unnecessary (evidence to the Contrary not withstanding).

Isn't this what we broke away from England for?

We are supposed to be a country that values freedom of choice.

Why do the Repubs focus on restricting freedom of choice
and still consider themselves in line with American ideals?

They are proving themselves small-minded people who
are an anchor dragging on progressive change. They want to
control others.

Thought: You should be able to choose to live your own life
the way you want no matter whether others are doing the
same as you or not.

Thought: Providing people the freedon to choose their own path is not the same as forcing others to do something. The Repubs says we are forcing things down their throats. This is not true and another Repub spin. We are allowing people the freedom to choose.

and to reinstate lifetime maximums. And to be allowed to terminate policies when people get sick.

I think Obama's campaign commercials will pretty much write themselves.

They don't need to have platform committee meetings now. That will give them more time for the brokered convention.
