ABC: Romney win in Ohio would be big leap toward nomination

The media is so predictable. They just want the nominee to be Romney. Saying that a Romney win in Ohio which border's Santorum's 'stronghold of PA' would be a big leap towards the nomination. Maybe. But why was Romney's win in New Hampshire hailed as such a great victory at the time when it bordered the state that Mittens was Governor? And why is Romney's 3-point victory in the state he grew up in (Michigan) proclaimed as a great win that has put his campaign back on track rather than a rather weak showing on his home turf? :

ABC News notes the growing drumbeat towards Mitt Romney's once again inevitable march to the Republican presidential nomination.

"It's not a done deal yet, but a Romney win in Ohio -- a rust-belt state that border's Santorum's stronghold of Pennsylvania -- could end up being one giant leap toward securing the nomination for Romney... 1. I don't know if this is heresy or not, but I don't think the media care who the Republican Nominee

is. Rather I think they've been enjoying the freakshow aspects to the Republican race. Let's face it, once the candidates are Romney and Obama it will probably be a lot less fun and a lot more work to report on them, as they are both somewhat passionless and prone to long policy proposals (granted Romneys are considerably crazier, but you have to read them to find that out).
