CHICAGO — Pierce Tower is one of oldest and most storied buildings at the prestigious University of Chicago, and students say you never know when poop is going to shoot from a toilet bowl in the bathrooms.

Broken toilets, sinks with sewage backups, and urine soaked floors are just some of the problems in the Pierce bathrooms.

Dozens of students joined a Facebook page dedicated to "Saving Pierce" by making necessary repairs.

Freshman Michelle Rodriguez claims a toilet explosion in October left her covered with excrement. .................(more)
