He was just on Chris Hayes, tying the President and the Dems into this mess
Basically he starts talking about the damage to the repukes, then he says and the Dems were damaged too, I mean Basically Federal Workers and Government Employees were used as pawns.
He didn't even take a breath
I can't stand that pancake head

(76 posts)I sent MSNBC an email months ago telling them that whenever I see Todd or Russert I change the channel. Nothing they ever say has any merit whatsoever.

(38,512 posts)NBC News is to blame for propping up the "false equivalence" garbage that Todd and Russert spew on their networks. These guys would be better off as play-by-play sportscasters. So would we all.

(879 posts)and didn't have a problem with what he said.
Those comments he made about the Dems and the Prez being damaged were more in relation to the mood at the White House. That it wasn't celebratory because they acknowledge that the country was damaged, and that faith in Washington itself was damaged. I think both of those things are true.

(879 posts)way, especially since he spent the entire election cycle playing up a fake horse race that didn't exist. "If Romney could only get 50-60% of the African American vote, he's got this."
When I see him, I have a natural negative visceral reaction because of his false equivalency crap, but this time, Chris Hayes asked him about the mood at the White House before he went in on it.

(8,084 posts)but we know they speak in Code
And If I got that from what he said. Imagine someone who says believes "Both Sides do it"
hearing him talk.
Again I will relisten to the interview And hopefully it's more clear to me. I am not an irrational Leftist Loon LOL

(587 posts)Since I am one, and I won't be seeing any back pay. I haven't seen anyone on any channel mention us besides this one time. We have families to support too, and most of us don't get paid as much as federal workers.

(8,084 posts)Your Company gets allotted a certain amount of money for your Contract. It is always WAY MORE THAN your actually salary. Unless they can show proof that money went away they can afford to pay you the days missed.
It is not your fault you were not at work.
That's my Theory
It may not work that way but it should.
Maybe if the contractors got together and made the request
