I need a Woodward book on this. Help me to understand this whole thing. This was not business as usual. This was bizarre.
No negotiations before the shutdown. Ransom request at the start of the shutdown. Then Begging for negotiations. Then your party turned on each other. Then you turned to the senate and Democrats to bail you out. Now enemies from the outside and within you party are coming to take you and your friends out.
What happened?
