G-8 summit to be held at Camp David, not Chicago

The G-8 economic summit will be held at Camp David, not in Chicago as had been scheduled.

The White House announced the surprise change in the following statement:

"In May, the United States looks forward to hosting the G-8 and NATO Summits. To facilitate a free-flowing discussion with our close G-8 partners, the president is inviting his fellow G-8 leaders to Camp David on May 18-19 for the G-8 Summit, which will address a broad range of economic, political and security issues.

1. I guess they'll be able to discuss all those pesky, worldwide protests in peace...

There's still plenty of room for protesters to come and rage against NATO and the Security Forces, however.

Just remember: If you come, don't even THINK about putting ketchup on a Chicago hot dog. There will be severe consequences for doing so: you might be jumped by a group of neighborhood locals, who will slather you with green relish and dust you with celery salt. We don't like people bringing their foreign condiments into our city.
