Moderate (sic) Republicans are as Delusional as Teabaggers

Someone thinks the world is only 9.000 years old? Primitive crazy talk.

Someone thinks lower government spending causes higher GDP? That is taken seriously as one side in a long term highly legitimate debate at the heart of American politics.

But it is false and, in a way, more delusional than thinking the world is 9,000 years old. None of us were around when the world was created. We have to deduce its age. We have, however, had ample opportunity to directly observe the growth effects of cutting taxes for the rich and cutting services for the poor.

The stimulative effect of cutting taxes for the rich is less, dollar for dollar, than the contractionary effect of reducing the amount of money ordinary people have, or the contractionary effect of reducing government spending.

"Pro-growth" Republicans are crackpots. Either they don't know anything about anything, or they secretly define growth as growth of inequality.

But they are taken very seriously.

Teabaggers are zombies. Moderate (sic) Republicans are vampires.
Either way, the rest of us are food.
