A majority of Republicans voted for the US to default on its debts

This is the most irresponsible Republican Party in the history of this nation.

A majority of them chose to put the good faith and credit of the U.S. and our standing in the world at risk. At best.

They are so irresponsible, the head of the IMF felt the need to make a public statement in support of rational governance in this nation in regard to fiscal policy.

Repeat: a majority of Republicans voted to potentially throw the U.S. and the world into an economic depression because, as one of them, Stutzman, from Indiana, stated: “We’re not going to be disrespected. We have to get something out of this. And I don’t know what that even is.”

If you want respect, you shouldn't act like irresponsible, ill-informed, uneducated, unworthy to govern self-promoters.

perceived by the GOP as a weakness to exploit. I think more Americans are finally waking up to what the 'new' GOP is about ... maybe.

Neither can Mexicans. To the credit of that bunch, it has a long historical tail and fear of miscegenation. (there I go, using dollar words)

he was irresponsible, a disgrace to the office, a coward and a traitor. I don't suppose he will ever see it though.

I try to avoid the personal insults in such a situation and speak about the excellent fundraising opportunity for the opposition...

But, you know, I have a lot of Republican relatives and they hate Ted Cruz, etc. because... they're not batshit crazy.
