House Speaker Steve Tilley is unapologetic: Radio talk show host and famous Cape Girardeau native Rush Limbaugh belongs in the Hall of Famous Missourians, alongside the likes of Stan Musial, Harry S. Truman and Walt Disney.
On Monday, Tilley confirmed he has chosen Limbaugh -- along with Dred Scott -- to have busts of their likeness to be placed in the Missouri State Capitol. And Tilley, R-Perryville, said Limbaugh's recent controversy in which he called a law student who testified about birth control policy a "slut" didn't give him a minute's pause.

Should Rush be in the Hall of Famous Missourians?
Today, Missouri Republicans announced that talk show host Rush Limbaugh will be placed in the Hall of Famous Missourians in the Missouri House of Representatives next to Gen. Omar Bradley, Walt Disney, Stan Musial, Mark Twain, and Harry Truman.
Just last week, Rush launched into a vitrolic attack of a law student who decided she wanted to utilize her first amendment rights to stand up for something she believed in. Limbaugh called her a 'slut' and a 'prostitute' for simply expressing her opinion.
