AFA hires former Concerned Women for America pres Sandy Rios... and she says Jews are enemy of US

The American Family Association recently hired Fox News contributor and former Concerned Women for America president Sandy Rios to host her own show on American Family Radio, and here’s what we get to look forward to: attacks on Jewish Americans for supporting President Obama. Earlier today she spoke with the AFA’s Tim Wildmon and Bryan Fischer, where she suggested that secular Jews are enemies of America. Rios bemoaned that “the Jewish vote in this country is so confused, so many of the Jews in this country are atheist and their hearts are with this President.” “They’re far-left,” Wildmon said, “Most of the Jews in this country are far left, unfortunately.” Rios said that “a lot of Jewish atheists are some of the ones who have done, just like former Christians or quasi Christians, people who have some dealing with Judeo-Christian ethics, sometimes turn out to be the worst enemies of the country.”

I just saw him on Fox News, which JUST SO HAPPENS to be engaged in a smear campaign against Media Matters, including a book-length "expose".

The attack on Media Matters involved something said by someone who happens to be Jewish himself, said absolutely nothing about "Jews", let alone calling them enemies.

And I find it highly relevant to see whether Dershowitz has anything to say about Sany Rios, who made a blanket statement about "the Jews" and did call them enemies. Has he said anything yet?

So what if he is accusing Media Matters of being anti-Semitic? This article isn't about that. Your train of thought is very convoluted. If I am reading your post correctly, he accused a Jew of being anti-Semitic? Well, I don't know what is going on, but it is possible for Jews to be anti-Semitic and say anti-Semitic things. It isn't relevant for him to say anything about this situation.

You posted a red herring and I responded.

Yes, thankfully we have a group that responds to anti-Semitism, because so few are willing to confront it, they'd rather Jews respond and make it point to comment on that response or lack thereof, then actually confronting the anti-Semitism themselves.

It has been that way for thousands of years. We were communists or capitalists in Nazi Germany, while being facists in the Soviet Union, and socialists or communists here in the good ole US of A...all at the same time! This is nothing more than the "good Jew, bad Jew" scenario. The left does it too.

that Jews killed Jesus and were therefore to be despised. This is not new propaganda. I've read Barbara Tuchman's book, A Distant Mirror which is about the period 1340 - 1400. There is information on pogroms in France during that time.

Even though Pope John XXIII in the Second Vatican Council produced the idea that "One of the more controversial documents was Nostra Aetate, which stated that the Jews of the time of Christ, taken indiscriminately, and all Jews today are no more responsible for the death of Christ than Christians", for some reason, the myth remains unabated. It's a mystery to me how humans always seem to select some group to spew their hatred upon.

More anti-semitism at the linked story, too.

Sadly, too many authoritarians who nevertheless consider themselves on the "left" are all too willing to cozy up to groups like the AFA and CWA... even to the point of endlessly flogging their bullshit "science", when it suits their narrow, pro-control, pro-censorship agenda.

These people are nuts, they're bigots, and they're theocratic fascists. I will remind folks of these facts next time someone tries to reference one of these dubious AFA backed studies, or "scientists".
