The system that the government is using appears to be early 2000s', downloading IE 5.0 or 6.0 and connecting via that browser may allow you to navigate the website.

I don't understand why the government hasn't build simulators yet. The only reason why the FEDs haven't done that is that may be the FED systems are older technology that can't talk to new technology, even via simulators.

18. You and I live in rich states. Interestingly, we have better health metrics than states that are

getting cheaper ACA policies. But the rate system has always been that way, that is one reason that I think insurance companies will fight tooth and nail to keep the ACA as it is once it catches hold. Single Payer would only be good for the few insurance companies that get contracts to administer it for the government.

Here in my part of Idaho there were only 2 Platinum plans, the cheaper one was only $288, before the subsidy.

My health care for my wife and myself cost $11.00 per hour out of my paycheck. If I worked the average 2,000 hours per year, that works out to $22,000 per year. My mortgage on my property in the S.F. bay Area was cheaper! i could deduct my mortgage, I could not deduct my health insurance. When I retired I had to have two major surgeries. A torn rotator cup and a knee replacment. The co-pays on my surgeries almosy bankrupted me even after the $22,000 a year insurance payments. The system is fucked up! I can't even imagine what people with lesser plans go through.

23. I have never in my life had insurance that inexpensive. Even with the companies I worked for,

between what I paid and the company paid it was always more. That doesn't take into account the extra money I had to pay out of pocket for check-ups, birth control, etc.
