Aha, so it’s the fault of the Left! They tricked him!

Rush Limbaugh, on his show Monday, explaining his verbal attack on Sandra Fluke:

“I don’t expect morality, intellectual honesty from the left. They’ve demonstrated over and over a willingness to do anything . . . It’s what we fight against every day. In fighting them . . . I became like them . . . Against my own instinct, my own knowledge . . . I descended to their level. . . and I feel very badly about that.”

This from the guy who popularized the term “feminazi” some two decades ago. snip

Years from now, the GOP will look back on 2012 and the re-election of Barack Obama, and they’ll wonder how they ever allowed themselves to get mired in debates about Herman Cain’s alleged dalliances, Newt Gingrich’s ex-wives, Mitt Romney’s finances, gay marriage — and Sandra Fluke.
