Damn, those people are incredible!

Swear to God, the worst thing about the baggers is that crazy now wields power. Crazy is entertaining as hell... as long as everyone realizes crazy is crazy. I was a huge Alex Jones fan before the baggers "mainstreamed" him.......

Our local campaigns have teabaggers, frackers, and secessionists, but none of the forums have gotten quite that rambunctious. Oy!

The one guy who's even slightly legit didn't get any screen time in this clip, other then a crabby face.

It must suck to have to go through the motions of something like that, but he handles it well.

I always seem to get into a conversation with him at caucuses and district conventions. I'm not sure why that always seems to happen. It started with the very first precinct caucus meetings I went to. I was standing outside of the high school where it was happening, and he walked up to me, introduced himself, and we had a conversation for about five minutes, mostly about fishing in local lakes.

Since then, he always seems to show up where I am at those events, and we have some conversation. He's a great guy, affable, and able to converse on many subjects. Good Mayor, too, for Saint Paul.

They provide the humor that is so often lacking.

OTOH, there are also some perennial candidates who are of another stripe and who bring only ugliness to campaigns. We have plenty of those around, too.

I hope the district can manage to elect a Democrat. I'll be helping however I can.

I even got to meet Bill Clinton when he stopped by to throw in his support for Graves.

It's a pity he didn't. I wonder who's going to end up being the DFL candidate in 2014.
