2014 is huge Year for Dems but DNC & DCCC Messaging to Muster the Troops is M.I.A.

2013 elections are over in 2 weeks then it's time to get our game faces on for 2014 and mobilize the troops. (Btw...will a "2014 Politics" forum group be getting on the site soon?. Thx)

2014 Troop Gear is M.I.A. It's hard to believe but I can't find any 2014 Dem troop gear. Checked DNC, DCCC, State Dem Party sites, County Dem Party sites Nothing. And DemocratStuff.com is stuck in a 2012 time warp as if Prez election is next month. Everything they have still says "2012".

So me and some of our local Dem troops came up with the following 2 ideas for bumper stickers (we basically grabbed the Dem logo that had "Democrats" beside it from the DNC home page then slapped on '2014'). Anyhow the DNC and DCCC are more than welcomed to use these if it will get the ball rolling, mass produced, then made them available for distribution to their troops:

[IMG][/IMG]

- Design Simplicity: won't overwhelm the visual senses or incite the GOP & TP troops to wanna key scratch our rides
- Design Sophistication: a bumper sticker even well-to-do Dems will want to slap behind their Beemers & 911's : ]
- Messaging: Two words "Democrats 2014" is all our message needs to say to mobilize the base to get out the vote at
the local, state & especially national level for the pivotal Nov 2014 Congressional elections.
- 'Subliminal Message' Ready!: Each time Dems drive behind our cars and see our stickers the word "Democrats 2014" will instantly attach to their cerebral cortex and reside in their sub-conscience then automatically recalled just before the next years nat'l elections as well as any primary election prior
- GOP & TP will know we mean business in 2014
- Local Gen X, Y, Millennials, and boomer troops Approved!.
- Keep a few on hand: People will notice your coolness and will want one.

Seriously, design doesn't matter but if we want to look united with the same single message and objective for 2014 recognizable by troops from the West Coast to the East Coast and all points North and South then I think it'd be more effective if we stuck with 1 or 2 designs. IMHO we just need something to get the base motivated enough to remember to vote in their state primaries and in next November's National election.

Btw is everyone getting hammered for $3 or $5 contributions by the DNC or DCCC like I am? I'm 100% certain they'll get tons of them if they send back a sticker for every donation.

If anyone in the DU house has connections in the DNC or DCCC please pass this along and tell them they need to get on the ball asap to mobilize the troops.

If anyone knows where I can 2014-sepecific troop gear pleez let me know.

Guys we can't afford to mess around in 2014 if we hope to take back the House from the TP insurrectionists and their GOP biatches like Boehner.

For the sake of Humanity and our party the GOP & TP House dictatorship needs to end Next November! I won't be able to take another 2 years of them undermining our President's agenda, sabotaging our Economy, or seeing him being dissed the way he has. Our Prez doesn't deserve to go out like that.

Thanks.

1. I would not donate to the DCCC or DSCC because I rely on Social Security for my income,

and its fate at this time if very uncertain. Democrats would have to persuade me that they absolutely will not give an inch on Social Security.

There is no alternative to Social Security for income for seniors right now. The stock market, as we learned in 2008, is completely reliable. On a $5,000 savings account from a major, very well known bank, you will receive less than $1 in interest. The inflation rate is just not that low especially for seniors.

The DCCC and DSCC needs to let me know they and the candidates they support will support me and other seniors when it comes to Social Security.

I support my representative as long as he stands for seniors on Social Security.

Neither of my senators faces an election in 2014.

Social Security is the key issue for me. I am not going to feed the hand that bites me. I will not support any candidate or organization that supports candidates who are willing to pass the chained CPI or cuts to Social Security.

2. Then don't blame DNC and DSCC when GOP cuts your SS

sounds like you're the kind that likes taking but not helping the party that has done all they could to keep GOP from giving it back to the 1%. Feel fortunate you're even getting SS. I'll have to be 80 or 90 to qualify.

But I am hearing from too many who claim to be Democrats who want to cut Social Security.

Why will you have to be 80 or 90 to qualify?

How do you propose Dems negotiate with GOP terrorists? Do you seriously think Dems want to cut entitlements? What you should be doing is doing all u can to help Dems take back the House next November so we can start being the shot callers. what I meant about 80 or 90? I'm 30 years old. In 30 years the retirement age may be 80 before we can collect.

5. The retirement age will not be 80. Employers don't want people once they are 55, much less 75.

Aging is real. At 30, you can't imagine what it is to have cataracts and need a hearing aid. But someday, if you are luck enough to live long enough, you will find out.

You need to be the first to fight to keep Social Security and Medicare going.

All we need to do is to raise the cap and raise minimum wages. That will increase the revenues coming into the Social Security Trust Fund.

Yes. I will be working hard to elect Democrats in 2014. But I'm in California. We pretty much elect good Democrats here.

I don't know where you are, but if you aren't in California, I hope you will work to elect Democrats in your district.

We just have to wait the Republicans out. They made themselves thoroughly unpopular when they shut down the government. Democrats should not give in on Social Security.

The problem of the baby boomers' retirement was dealt with during the Reagan administration. Yes. That far back. They set up the Social Security Trust Fund and increased the percentage of your check that goes into the fund.

Bush spent the money on two wars and tax cuts mostly for the rich.

The Social Security Trust Fund has plenty of money in it.

We just need to bring the jobs back to America from all the countries we shipped them off to. The alternative is to tax the corporations that benefit from our huge military and our keeping the corporate trade routes safe from pirates, terrorists, etc. The corporations either need to create the jobs they claim they create or they should pay much higher taxes.
