I was reminded of this comment when I saw the chart that shows the amount of money going to the blue states/not going to red states for Obamacare assistance.
So, yes, I'm in a red state where this was heard. Two women talking about how they were not going to sign up for the illegal and immoral healthcare insurance they were being forced into and knew they couldn't afford anyway. Now, mind you, lady number 2 had just said that she desperately needed insurance because she is not able to get healthcare anywhere with her job that doesn't earn enough to pay for coverage. But, that was OK because
SHE WAS GOING TO WAIT FOR THE CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST OBAMA AND USE THAT MONEY FOR EVERYTHING SHE NEEDS
Yes she did. I realized later on that they probably didn't even call up to see how much their coverage would cost, or if they were eligible for a subsidy. But man, that's some financial planning!!
Anyone hear anything worse, funnier than that?

I still think I win, even though hers was a good one! I just can't imagine that there is a group of people waiting to get an award from a lawsuit against something that has been given a seal of approval by the Supreme Court. I usually try to educate but these guys were just lost.

(16,646 posts)Okay, ignore for a minute that at best there will be 12% of the population added to the system. All of the 12% aren't sick. Second of all, we always heard that "if your sick you can get treated", so the sick should already be in the system right? Finally, they're saying that all these sick people shouldn't get treatment because it will "overwhelm" the system. Um.... Please tell me the system is perfectly capable of handling all the sick people. It is after all the "best health care in the world" right?
