1. While living in Boston, one of the first public stands

Jackson made was against and in opposition to gay foster parents. That issue was a hot topic at the time (roughly 1985). Jackson led a demonstration to express his and his followers opposition....about 15 people showed up, the majority were children accompanying their demonstrating parent(s). Jackson hung around Boston for a short while but, the leadership of Boston's Black community was firmly opposed to everything he stood for. Pat Robertson threw some money at Jackson but then the irReverend Jackson left Boston because of some financial irregularities.
