One of the good things about the Christie re-election, this is the last and only office he

will ever hold. Once he is done as governor, he will be out of the spotlight. I'm an old Jersey Girl and I do understand the "don't under-estimate the opponent" meme. I just don't think he will get any further than Jersey Governor...

Although they came out for Romney I think that was more because of their ultra-hatred towards our African American president.

Teapublicans are Purists to a fault. It's the main reason why the Koch Bros invested so heavily in their "movement". For decades, Teapublicans refused to vote for "mainstream Republicans" and just stayed home. I believe they'll do that again should Christie be the Republican nom - but I doubt Christie will make it through the primaries and conventions.

I think he does well in primaries - look what he did in a deep blue state - he will run on pragmatic governing

I was one of those who thought this country would never vote for someone so obviously unfit for the most important job in the country. In fact, I remember laughing that he thought he had an ice cube's chance in hell. I will never make that mistake again.

made it on the national stage? Seems they flame out (like Corzine) or the rest of the country has that deep suspicion of NY and NJ that just leaves a bad taste in their mouths.
