Absolutely disgusting!

Ariana Klay was raped by her fellow Marines. What followed was a horror show where she was intimidated by her superiors, maliciously harassed, and victimized again by the military branch she volunteered to serve in.

At 3:45, her husband explains how lucky he is. At 7:06, she explains how her leadership failed her. At 7:50, she lays out the facts for how to fix it. And at 9:25, she explains why she isn't a victim.

rape investigations need to be taken out of the chain of command. And her CO deserves to have his ass kicked for saying that.

They are in a target rich environment. I was in 25 years ago and the same type of shit was going on. The commanders ideology is that their not going to ruin a young man because some whore can't keep her legs shut. That is their attitude. I saw it all the time and it hasn't changed since I've was in.
